Thomas E.Austin, 53, Baxter, MN died Wednesday at St. Joseph's Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 19, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Had been a resident of Baxter the last 13 years. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service and had owned Austin's Electrical Repair for the last 10 years. He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene anad am employee of the Burlington Northern Railroad in Burlington, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; two sons, Thomas II, Baxter, and Scott, Brainerd; three daughters, Mrs Debra [Michael] Stoe, Baxter, Mrs. Corrinna [Frank Jr.] Haag, St. Louis Park, and Mrs. Jacklyn Austin, Baxter, his father, Ellas Austin, Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Harry, Hampton Va. and Ellas, Killeen Texas; two sisters Mrs JoAnn Armbruster, Denver,Colo.,and Mrs Grace Cashman, DesMoines, and 11 grandchildren
Services will be 11a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Nazarene, with Pastor Michael Lynch officiatin. Burial will be in Baxter Cemetary.
Friends may call at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home 5-8p.m. Thurssday, noon-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to services Saturday.
